We had a great turnout for the Ice Fishing event on Saturday and the overnight campout this past weekend. Several fish were caught and several got away, but that's the nature of the game! While waiting for the big one to bite, a few rounds of ice golf were played, the playground was visited and card games were played. Lunch was yummy too!

But most of all, we were blessed with unseasonably warm weather.

Thanks to all who were able to make it.

The campout continued after the ice fishing at our summer meeting location. Temps dropped just below 32 degrees and we bundled up after having great dinner. We rounded out the campout on Sunday with breakfast, clean up and a 2 mile hike.

Looking forward to doing this event again next year!

We took some time to celebrate OA member Benjamin Krueger and officially award him the rank of Eagle Scout!
Ben is quite a decorated Scout earning 24 merit badges, accomplishing 97 nights camping, 98 miles hiked, 150 miles canoeing, 75 miles of cycling and 160 service hours.
He also served the troop as Assistant Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Instructor. Congratulations, Ben! 🦅

Siblings Isaac, Cassie and Eli all earned the rank of Eagle and we are so proud of them! 🦅
