Urgent - Help Us Support Wesley Chapel Fire Victims - Donate Today

This email was sent to members of the Wesley Chapel Elks Lodge #2893 on Friday (8/21) morning in response to the cry for help for the victims of Thursday's fire at Cobalt Apartments.

To: Members of Wesley Chapel Elks
For those who are not aware, there was a major fire yesterday at the Cobalt Apartments in Wesley Chapel that destroyed nearly 80+ apartments and displaced approximately 400 residents.

They are looking for donations of clothing, toiletries & toothbrushes, personal hygiene products, and other daily essentials, including meals.

Our motto, Elks Care Elks Share, is never more important than now, when our community is in need.

Members have been asked to drop off donations at my house, and the donations will be brought to Cobalt on Monday afternoon. The members know where to drop off their donation.

We are now asking the rest of the community to join us. You can drop-off your donation at the Cobalt Apartments Clubhouse - 4338 Cobalt Brook Blvd Lutz, FL 33559

We are collecting NEW OR GENTLY USED essential items, including:
🍼 Diapers & baby supplies
🪥 Toiletries & toothbrushes
🧴 Personal hygiene products
👕 New or gently used clothing
🛏️ Blankets & bedding
🧦 Socks & undergarments
🎒 Backpacks & everyday essentials
🧼 Household necessities and furnishing
🐾 Pet supplies
🍝 Meals

August Social will be held at Falabella Family Bistro (6027 Wesley Grove Blvd., Ste 105, Wesley Chapel) from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Lodge.
If you are a member, this is a chance to talk with other members and friends.
If you are not a member, this is an opportunity for you to meet members of the lodge, learn about the Elks, and possibly complete an application.
