COS Foundation

COS Foundation The COS Foundation supports the mission and values of College of the Siskiyous by fostering community relationships and raising funds to enhance education.

Since 1992, the COS Foundation has actively raised funds with the intent of helping to keep College of the Siskiyous at the forefront of educational quality by developing new programs, improving facilities, providing equipment, and offering student scholarships. The funds raised by the Foundation Board benefit five areas of priority:

1) encouraging excellence in teaching and learning; 2) offering

student scholarships; 3) acquiring and supporting new technologies; 4) completing campus renovations and new building projects; and 5) enhancing the arts. Quality education depends on fiscal stability, well-maintained facilities and equipment, up-to-date technology, and a faculty and staff that are current with new and innovative advances in their fields. Since its inception, the Foundation has worked to assist the Board of Trustees and College staff to maintain its standard of excellence.

New month, new SCU Giveback💙

This September we’re spotlighting the College of the Siskiyous Foundation, a local nonprofit that’s been investing in COS students and programs for over 30 years.

Here’s how we’re celebrating them at the branch this month: fresh bouquets from hansenflowerco, a Lil Bean ✙ Espresso Cart pop-up at the Yreka branch on September 18th, and our back to school basket raffle running all month. All proceeds go straight to the COS Foundation.
