Happy Father’s Day from the We Are One Foundation.

To the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who are raising, loving, and supporting a child with disabilities, autism, or special needs, we want you to know that you are not alone. We see you. We walk this road too, and we know there are days that feel heavy, moments that feel overwhelming, and worries that others may never fully understand. But we also know the love, the joy, the pride, and the beautiful little victories that mean everything.

Today, we are simply saying thank you. Thank you for showing up in all the ways your child needs you. Thank you for your patience, your strength, your protection, your advocacy, and your heart. You are incredible human beings, and the love you give your child matters more than you may ever know. We appreciate you, we celebrate you, and we are grateful to walk this path beside you.

🎳 Still smiling from this afternoon. 💙

Today’s VIP Bowling Night at Spare Time Lanes was one of those afternoons that remind us exactly why We Are One exists.

We want to start with a heartfelt thank you to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saint Johns, PA, for sponsoring this event. Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping make this afternoon possible for our VIPs.

It was not just about bowling. It was the clapping, the cheering, the high-fives, the smiles after every turn, and watching our VIPs support and celebrate each other. Those are the moments that stay with us.

To our VIPs, families, caregivers, siblings, and volunteers, thank you for showing up and making the afternoon so special. We know how much planning can go into attending events, and we never take that for granted.

A special thank you to our volunteers for your kindness, patience, and encouragement, and to Spare Time Lanes in Tamaqua for welcoming our group and helping make the event fun and accessible.

We are so grateful for this community and for every person who helped create such a beautiful afternoon of friendship, joy, and belonging. 💙

Back by popular demand, the We Are One Foundation Inclusive Summer Movie Series is returning for July and August 2026!

This free, sensory-friendly movie experience is designed for individuals with disabilities, autism, and special needs, along with their families and caregivers. This year, we are excited to expand to two locations: Regal Cinema in Hazleton, PA, and Regal Plymouth Meeting in Conshohocken, PA.

🎉 Congratulations to Ann Simkovich, Ticket Holder #97, the winner of the We Are One Foundation 50/50 Raffle from last night's Pennsylvania Pick 2 drawing at 7:00 PM!

Ann will receive $500, and the remaining $500 will go directly toward providing free, inclusive events for individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and other special needs of all ages throughout our community.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and supported the We Are One Foundation. Your generosity helps us continue creating fun, free, inclusive events for individuals and families to connect and participate in a welcoming and supportive environment.
