On August 5th Carter, went to a “foster” to see how she worked out as a new companion after a recent loss.

We all knew it was going to be a Foster Fail within a couple weeks, but we waited for the decision. Well, it came over the weekend and Carter is now adopted by her “foster.” 🤣

If you’ve followed Carter’s story, you’ll remember her coming in with a sliced open stomach and a badly broken leg. Almost $8k in total surgeries between her initial surgery for the plates to hold her leg while it healed back in March and in July she had a plate removed due to rejection.

With everything she’s been through she never stopped being a spunky and outgoing puppy that loved everyone.

I’m happy to finally say:

Happy Gotcha Day, Carter! Your new mama is 100% dedicated to giving you a life full of love, and you’re already spoiled rotten. And the best part, she works from home so you’ll rarely be left alone.

Does no one really want Short Stack?

I mean she is a little gremlin that has minimal braincells and kind of listens…even if there’s a delayed reaction.

She is an only pet house type, which we do know isn’t the easiest to find, but she is a fun pocket sized bully. She LOVES water and chasing imaginary lizards, bugs, and/or rats.

Short Stack is loyal to those she loves and has the potential to be a great companion for a home where she will be the one and only, a home with maybe teenage age kids, or adults only.

She’s been with us for 886 days and is about 3 1/2 years old. Spayed and microchipped.

Diego got adopted and went home today!

We are so excited that both babies got forever homes and are going to be very happy puppies! Diego has two kitty siblings that he gets to harass, I mean love. 🤣 The puppy stage is wild and they know no boundaries, but I bet those kitties are going to let him know asap!

Anyway!

Happy Gotcha Day, Diego! You’re so loved by many here at SGER and I bet many more people are going to fall in love with you.

Now we need to get mama Gracie Mae a forever because she is WONDERFUL!

Can we get some Throwback Thursdays and a recent pic of any dogs adopted from us?

We haven’t done this is way too long so we would LOVE to see how some of our adopted babies are doing.

Sonny was brought to us 2/26/2025 looking a hot mess and so shut down, but look at this handsome chunky boy as of the pictures taken last week.

He’s still available for adoption, but this is his glow up and throwback Thursday.

Brain has had plans to take over the world, or his own home, but he has yet to be adopted.

This stubby legged little man is the last of his litter, including their mom, looking for his forever home.

He’s a fun little dude that has a spunky personality that is a bit mischievous, but he’s pretty much past the puppy stage. Be likes to play with all size other dogs, steal toys, and just being a cute little goober.

Not sure about cats and not sure if his breed mix, but his mom is all white and stubby just like him. He’s 30-40lbs.

He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

About 1yr 5mos and has been with us since he was 4 weeks old. It’s BEYOND time for this young boy to find his forever.
