Country Road Animal Rescue

Country Road Animal Rescue Amanda and I embarked on this journey of dog rescue several years ago. Since we started in 2006 we have touched over 4,000 lives. We can always use volunteers.

We started by fostering, working at a local shelter, working with a few dog rescues and with rescue waggin. Out of those we have personally fostered 1,075. Working hand in hand with other rescues is the key to our success. We do not allow any dog to go out not spayed or neutered. We are located in rural Wayne County, Tn. The majority of our rescues are dogs who where dumped and left for dead on t

he side of the road or pulled from local and high kill shelters. We are a 501c3, so all donations are tax deductible. All Donations are greatly appreciated. The more funding the more lives we can save. We are 2 full time working moms. We greatly appreciate transport help. Getting dogs back and fourth to the vet and to transport. Just as a clarification to the previous post. We will be more than happy to assist with medical care or euthanasia of a stray animal in distress or will be happy to help if asked by a vet office to help (within Wayne county). We will no longer be giving that option to owners as they seem to be unreasonable to deal with. We cover the cost and that is it. We cannot make anyone euthanize an owned animal. We are strictly the monetary part of that decision and have no ability to dictate what people do with their own animals. Which I thought was just common knowledge but apparently not.

Up to this point we have been able to manage all our requests but I literally do not have any space left for a crate or a cage. We do offer free spay and neuter which will 💯 fix any future cats from being made.

Good afternoon,

Wanted to see if anyone is missing this sweet girl. We found her off of highway 64 in Waynesboro. Roughly between Skelton sawmill rd and Clifton turnpike.

She appears to be a husky/ Shepard mix. She is super sweet but very skittish.

We saw her off the highway on Saturday 5/23 and we were scared she’d run in the road and get hit.
