Volunteer Chris spent 2 hours in Toney, Alabama, mowing and string trimming for a neighbor who had lost her job and was worried that an overgrown lawn could lead to a citation.

She left us a voicemail on Monday. Chris received the alert on his phone, listened to her message, and offered to help just three minutes later. By that weekend, the yard was mowed.

He logged the entire visit through our MOW mobile app, continuing an impressive stretch of service:

* 📱 13 app-logged visits since May
* ⏱️ 17 volunteer hours logged through the app
* 🏡 3 Alabama households served
* 🔁 10 return visits to neighbors he had already helped
* 🌱 14 total visits · 18 total hours across our platform

Chris has now submitted 13 of the 14 real volunteer visits ever logged through our native mobile app — 93% of its visit activity to date.

More importantly, those numbers represent real neighbors receiving consistent, hands-on help.

A big thank you to Pam of GirlzLawn for once again showing up for a neighbor through I Want To Mow Your Lawn. 💚🌱

Pam spent a couple of hours in Richmond, VA, providing free lawn care for Amanda, who has been dealing with health challenges that have made keeping up with the yard difficult.

The property was severely overgrown, and with battery-powered equipment Pam was able to tackle the front yard and one side of the property — giving immediate, visible relief and making a meaningful difference with the time and tools she had available.

Pam now approaching 10 volunteer visits under her belt with our nonprofit, donating her own time and effort to help neighbors in need - with her expertise.

We’re incredibly appreciative of Pam and the continued contributions she’s making through our platform. Thank you, Pam — and thank you GirlzLawn! 🙏💚

The property has become heavily overgrown, and this looks like a situation where a few willing hands could make a meaningful difference.

A big thank you to volunteer Jim for lending a hand in Rocky Mount, NC.

With bad knees making yard work difficult and trimming the bushes becoming a safety concern, Tracey needed some help keeping things manageable. Jim stepped in and trimmed the front hedges, providing practical relief and making the area around the home safer and easier to maintain.

This marks Gail’s second volunteer visit with our nonprofit, and we’re very grateful for the time and effort she continues to give through our platform.

Gail donated three hours of her own time in Anderson, South Carolina, using her trimmer to provide immediate, visible relief for this homeowner, whose serious neck and back injuries have made it difficult to manage the yard on her own.

Rodney Smith Jr. , you cleared this path. Grateful to walk it behind you — and grateful to call you a friend.

As a fellow nonprofit founder, Rodney is inspiring a generation of kids to step up and lend a hand — and as resource partners, our platforms of do-gooders keep growing side by side. A big thank-you to Dennis, a retired educator from the area, for volunteering his time to help a woman in Wayne who is currently undergoing cancer treatment. On behalf of our organization, Dennis provided her with a free lawn mowing, giving her some much-needed relief during a difficult time. In Bolingbrook, Illinois, volunteer Debbie spent 1.5 hours on-site helping a neighbor completely free of charge and in the spirit of goodwill through I Want To Mow Your Lawn. With walking becoming increasingly difficult while the neighbor awaits knee replacement surgery, keeping up with the yard has become a challenge.

Debbie double-mowed the lawn, edged the sidewalks and driveway, and removed large weeds growing through the fence, helping make the outdoor space more manageable and cared for.

Debbie has also stepped up as a founding member and Community Steward for Bolingbrook, helping strengthen our nonprofit’s volunteer presence and support for neighbors throughout the local community.
