SAS, located in Waycross, Georgia, with satellite offices in Douglas, Nahunta, and Folkston, is a non-profit organization formed to provide services for sexual assault survivors in Bacon, Brantley, Charlton, Coffee, Pierce and Ware Counties. Staff and volunteers are trained in the legal and medical aspects of r**e crisis intervention for survivors of all ages. We provide counseling and emotional s
upport, evidence exams, emergency assistance, and accompaniment and advocacy for survivors and their families. Specialized services for children are also available. In addition to providing these services to survivors and their families, it is the mission of Satilla Advocacy Services to educate the public on how to recognize and prevent sexual assaults.
