Join us on Sunday, June 14 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the Waverly Comm Car Show!

Cars and Coffee is BACK and refreshed a bit! This year’s event will feature iced and hot coffee from our friends at Zummo’s, treats from Weis and Krispy Kreme, prizes, and more!—and, it’s two hours longer!

Enjoy a morning of classic and specialty vehicles, great conversation, and time spent with friends, neighbors, and fellow car enthusiasts on the Comm grounds.

All proceeds will also help support The Comm and our ongoing mission of providing educational, recreational, and cultural opportunities for our community.

Paint Like the Impressionists: Acrylic Painting with Leanna Yatcilla

🎨 Paint Like the Impressionists This Summer

Join Artist-in-Residence Leanna Yatcilla for a four-week acrylic painting experience inspired by some of history's most celebrated Impressionist artists.

Through guided instruction, participants will:

🎨 Explore acrylic painting techniques
🎨 Practice expressive brushwork
🎨 Learn fine art concepts and composition
🎨 Create a new painting each class
🎨 Discover the styles of different Impressionist masters

Whether you're new to painting or looking to expand your skills, this class offers a welcoming and creative environment for artistic exploration.

Participants may register for the full four-week series or attend individual drop-in sessions.

All materials are included.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Victoria for more than a decade of dedicated service to the Comm. Her hard work and commitment were instrumental in building the Upstairs Thrift into what it is today, and she will be greatly missed. We wish her all the best in a well-earned retirement.

We're also thrilled to welcome Jennifer Miller as our new Thrift Shop Manager. Stop in and say hello! And if you haven't had a chance to see Victoria in person, you still can. She'll be here through June 6th. ❤
