We have an incredible crew heading to Rib Mountain State Park for Camp on Location, and we can't wait for an unforgettable week of adventure!

Are you in the area? You won't want to miss this program. Camp on Location is our most immersive nature-based day camp experience, giving campers the chance to explore in one of Wisconsin's most beautiful outdoor classrooms.

Camp On Location runs Monday-Thursday June 22-25 and there's still time to join!

Last summer, our staff gathered around a jar filled with rocks.

One by one, they shared milestones from the summer before dropping a stone into the jar.

"I became more confident."

"I learned how to communicate my needs."

"I reshaped my values and learned what matters most to me."

Clink.

"Milestone!"

The jar wasn't filled with rocks.

It was filled with evidence of transformation.

Now, our 2026 summer staff have arrived. A new group of young leaders is ready to begin filling the jar all over again.

In the weeks ahead, they'll comfort homesick campers, lead songs around campfires, help campers discover gifts they didn't know they had, and create spaces where young people feel known, welcomed, and loved.

And along the way, they will be changed, too.

That’s a wrap on Staff Training 2026!

We pack a lot into these days! New skills, camp traditions, safety practices, leadership lessons, faith formation, relationship-building, and countless shared experiences. Our minds are swirling as we try to process everything we've learned together.

Most of all, we're grateful. Grateful for one another, for the many people who shared their wisdom and leadership this week, and for the supporters who make it possible for these incredible young adults to serve and grow through camp ministry.

Now it's time for a good night's sleep before the real adventure begins.

Campers, we're ready for you.

It’s amazing how much good our families can fit into summer schedules.

Because of that, it’s not uncommon for campers to arrive late or leave early for sports tournaments, family vacations, performances, or other important moments. Sometimes we even help campers zip out for a big game or recital… and bounce right back into camp life afterward.

Is it a little clunky sometimes? Sure.

But would we rather make it work than have a camper miss camp altogether? TOTALLY.

So if your summer calendar feels a little imperfect, you’re in good company. Join us for the program that fits best, and we’ll work around the rest.

It’s one of the trainings and certifications our staff complete so we’re ready for whatever camp life brings our way.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us last Saturday for Spring Kickoff!

Because of you, camp is a little cleaner, a little brighter, and a lot more ready for summer. From raking and cleaning to organizing, hauling, fixing, painting, and everything in between, your time and energy made a real difference.

Last year, we launched STEAM Camp for campers currently in grades 2nd–6th. It's a hands-on, exploratory week full of creativity, curiosity, problem-solving, and discovery. It’s experiments and inventions… but also campfires, games, songs, friendships, and all the camp magic too.

Because STEAM Camp is still a newer program, we’re still helping families discover it, and honestly, the best recommendations usually come from people saying, “Oh… I know exactly the kid who would love this.”
