Yesterday's devastating tornado has left many families and communities throughout the Fox Valley facing unimaginable challenges.

On behalf of everyone at the Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department, we want the people of the Fox Valley to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We are grateful to the first responders, utility crews, volunteers, and neighbors who have stepped up to help those in need.

Please continue to keep everyone affected in your thoughts as they begin the long road to recovery. Our hearts are with all those who suffered loss, damage, or displacement.

What a turnout we had yesterday! First off THANK YOU to each and every one of you who came and supported us. We hope whatever you were there for, you enjoyed. Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers and our members for putting in all the hours to put on a big event like this. We will be posting a survey this week looking for recommendations for the future!

Couple things to remember for next weekend for our Annual Chicken BBQ and Live Music, Portage Street will be COMPLETELY CLOSED in front of the fire station starting Friday morning July 10th until either Sunday or Monday morning. Also, we have pushed chicken serving back to NOON! Weather is looking great for next weekend! Can't wait to see everyone!

At approximately 11:43 this morning, Friday July 3rd, the Saxeville-Springwater Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Long Lake for a boat in the water not occupied. Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department responded and water rescue MABAS card was activated to the still alarm for mutual aide from Waushara County EMS , Wild Rose Fire District, Poy Sippi Volunteer Fire Department Waushara County Emergency Management and Communications and Wautoma Area Fire Department. Boat was found anchored approximately 100 yards off shore with no occupants inside the boat. After being on scene, the owners of the boat were located and safe. All units cleared and returned to the station. Thank you to Waushara County Sheriff's Office for assistance on the lake. We hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend!

Saturday, July 11 Chicken serving starts at NOON. Burgers & Hot Dogs 🍺 Beer & Soda available all day!
Live music throughout the afternoon and evening Cash raffles and gun raffle held the day of the event.
Bring your family, friends, and appetite for a day of great food, great music, and great company—all while supporting your local volunteer fire department.
