Day 4 brought lots more fun, work, and sharing Jesus!
Tonya’s team finished up handing out flyers for VBS that took place that afternoon. And while doing so were invited to play with the kids at the boys and girls club. Sooo cool to watch our youth figure out how to interact with the kids even with the language barrier. I was so proud of them!! And the little kids were sooo excited!
Tiffany and her crew were back at the house working on the painting project.
Matt and Mike took a new group back to the cement project.
And Ted and Michele’s team spent the morning planning, preparing, and practicing for VBS.

Wednesday was our last day of work. So we went directly from our jobs out for dinner quick then on a kayaking tour to see the bioluminescence bay.
Was it fun? Yes
Was it cool? Yes
Did the bay glow bright blue like in the movies? No, not even remotely.

We’re super grateful for the experience and glad we did it.

The second half of our free day was spent at two seperate beaches. The first one was breathtaking and had food trucks and shopping.
But unfortunately no waves…so after a couple hours we packed up and went to another beach where a few locals offered up surfboards and boogie boards so the kids had a blast.

Yesterday was our free day. We spent the first half hiking at El Yunque National Forest.
We first saw the Yokahu Tower. Then a treacherous hike up to Juan Diego Waterfall.
It was gorgeous…pictures just do not do justice!
