This month, we recognize the incredible families who stand alongside our service members through every transition, challenge, and new beginning.

Military families demonstrate extraordinary strength, resilience, and commitment. From navigating frequent moves and deployments to building new connections, careers, and finding a place to call home, their sacrifices and contributions deserve recognition and appreciation every day.

At Next Move NY – Live Love Stay, we celebrate the military families who make our communities stronger and are proud to help them discover all that the North Country has to offer. Through meaningful connections, new opportunities, and the region’s many recreational and cultural experiences, we strive to make their time here more than just a duty station; we want it to be the beginning of putting down roots and finding a place they are proud to call HOME.

👻 FORT DRUM FAMILIES…READY TO EXPLORE THE DARK SIDE OF WATERTOWN? 🎃

Looking for a Halloween experience that's a little different from the usual haunted house? We've got one worth checking out! 🕸️

Forget the pop-up scares and makeshift haunted attractions. This one takes place inside the historic Masonic Temple in downtown Watertown, a building that's been standing for over 100 years and holds hallways, rooms, and hidden corners most locals have never explored!

It's history, mystery, and Halloween thrills all rolled into one unforgettable experience. And trust us…the setting alone is worth seeing! 😈

🧌 SIX GIANT TROLLS. ONE EPIC ADVENTURE.

Meet Basse Buller, Ibbi Pip, Kamma Can, Ronja Redeye, Rosa Sunfinger, and Sofus Lotus! These larger-than-life creations by world-renowned recycling artist Thomas Dambo are made from reclaimed materials and tucked throughout the beautiful Wild Center campus. Each troll has a unique personality and a message about protecting nature, reusing materials, and taking care of our planet. 🌎💚

⏰ BUT DON’T WAIT...THEIR TIME IS RUNNING OUT!

The six traveling trolls will be leaving after October 31, 2026! That means there’s still time to gather the kids, grab your favorite adventure buddy, and make some unforgettable fall memories before they move on. 🍁📸
