The Waterloo Inside Ratification meeting is canceled for Friday, May 8th. We are still at an impasse.

We have scheduled the Waterloo Inside Contract Ratification meeting for Friday May 8th at 4:30pm. This contract ratification meeting is scheduled in the event that a tentative agreement is reached locally. If no tentative agreement is reached before the ratification meeting, the meeting will be canceled, and we will be attending the May CIR session. Check the website/page on May 7th to see if the meeting is canceled.

Mayor Hart was instrumental in adapting post-bid language for all future large scale City of Waterloo projects. This policy language greatly increases the ability of our employers to successfully bid this public work in the future. Mayor Hart is also working tirelessly on economic development, recruiting business, creating construction projects in the community, one such project is currently underway, providing jobs for IBEW 288 members.
