For a $100 donation, you can sponsor a cat kennel for one month during June—helping provide daily care, comfort, and everything our cats need while they wait for adoption.

At Cedar Bend Humane Society, once an animal is placed up for adoption, they stay with us as long as it takes to find the right home—there is no time limit on their stay. 💛

🐾 Meet Gem! 🐾

Gem is an approximately 7-year-old Shih Tzu with a soft, loving personality and the sweetest, most easygoing nature. She came to CBHS as an owner surrender and has quickly shown just how special she is—affectionate, friendly, curious, and happiest when she’s close to her people.

She’s very much a cozy, couch-loving girl who enjoys calm moments, gentle attention, and being part of a peaceful home where she can relax and feel safe.

Spayed, vaccinated, and full of love to give, Gem is ready for her next chapter—and she’s hoping it includes a soft bed, a cozy couch, and someone who thinks she’s perfect just as she is. 🤍
