This morning we assisted the Village of Waterford Fire Department for a patient stuck on the shoreline below the cliffs at Peebles Island. Car 46, U-464, and MR-465 responded. The patient was removed and turned over to EMS for transport to a local hospital for treatment. Nice job by everyone involved.

Tonight we were invited to Maplewood FD for a great training opportunity on the Albany County Sheriffs fire training trailer. It was a great night of learning and sharpening our skills on forceable entry, search and rescue, and fire suppression. Huge thank you to the Chiefs, Officers, and members of the Maplewood Fire Department and the Albany County Sheriffs Office.

Yesterday our members stood by during the waterford car show at sugarloaf pond, handing out water, assisting with parking and showing off 462! Another great turn out for this event, we’ll see you next year!

Tonight our members joined our mutual aid department, Waterford for pump operation training. Members worked on intake to intake pumping techniques as well as hand-line operations and deck gun operations. Great job by all!
