A huge thank you to the Tri-City ValleyCats for hosting Hockey Night at the Joe and welcoming Capital Cup for Kids!

We had a great time meeting fans at our table, sharing our mission, and spreading the word about how hockey can make a difference for local children and families.

A special highlight of the night was having SouthPaw stop by to help hoist the Capital Cup! We think he might have found his next sport.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, and to the ValleyCats organization for your hospitality and support of our community. We truly appreciate the opportunity and look forward to doing it again!

BIG NEWS!
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Capital Cup for Kids has officially surpassed $300,000 raised this year for local children and families facing serious illness.
As if that wasn't exciting enough, we're honored to announce that Capital Cup for Kids has been selected as a June winner of the Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance Make More Happen Awards, earning an additional $10,000 donation to further our mission.

This achievement would not have been possible without the leadership and dedication of Don Ferlazzo and the team at Foursurance. Don championed this initiative from the beginning, helping share our story and rally support throughout the voting campaign. We are incredibly grateful for his efforts and partnership.

Thank you to everyone who took a few moments each day to vote, share our posts, and spread the word. Your support helped make this recognition possible and pushed us past an incredible fundraising milestone.

Together, we are making a difference for families who need it most.

Tournament Partnership Spotlight:
Building on Love

Year after year, Capital Cup for Kids would not be possible without the incredible partnership and support from Building On Love.

From the earliest planning stages to setup, organization, and running the tournament weekend alongside us, their team puts an unbelievable amount of time, energy, and heart into this event every single year. What people see on the ice is only possible because of the countless hours happening behind the scenes.

Beyond the tournament, the work Building On Love does for local families facing medical hardship is truly inspiring, and we are honored to continue partnering with an organization that gives so much back to our community.

Thank you to everyone at Building On Love for your dedication, your partnership, and everything you do to help make Capital Cup for Kids what it is today. 💙

❤️🏒 Community Partner Spotlight:
Circle of Champs

This year marked a special first for Capital Cup for Kids as we welcomed our community partners to be part of our tournament and invited families they support to serve as honorary captains for our teams.

We are incredibly thankful to have had their team with us and for the amazing work they do for children, families, and our community every single day.

Having the opportunity to meet the families they support and share in their stories was a powerful reminder of what this tournament is truly about. Their impact reaches far beyond the ice, and we are proud to help shine a light on their mission.
