A huge thank you to the Tri-City ValleyCats for hosting Hockey Night at the Joe and welcoming Capital Cup for Kids!

We had a great time meeting fans at our table, sharing our mission, and spreading the word about how hockey can make a difference for local children and families.

A special highlight of the night was having SouthPaw stop by to help hoist the Capital Cup! We think he might have found his next sport.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, and to the ValleyCats organization for your hospitality and support of our community. We truly appreciate the opportunity and look forward to doing it again!

Tyler Stricklin loved everything about the Capital Cup for Kids. The Stricklin Strong Memorial Hockey Tournament is taking place this week (Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20) in Clifton Park, celebrating Tyler's memory and love of the game, still needs a few more players.

Let's help them sell it out in year one!

All proceeds will support two youth players during the 2026–2027 season by helping cover equipment costs and playing fees.

BIG NEWS!
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Capital Cup for Kids has officially surpassed $300,000 raised this year for local children and families facing serious illness.
As if that wasn't exciting enough, we're honored to announce that Capital Cup for Kids has been selected as a June winner of the Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance Make More Happen Awards, earning an additional $10,000 donation to further our mission.

This achievement would not have been possible without the leadership and dedication of Don Ferlazzo and the team at Foursurance. Don championed this initiative from the beginning, helping share our story and rally support throughout the voting campaign. We are incredibly grateful for his efforts and partnership.

Thank you to everyone who took a few moments each day to vote, share our posts, and spread the word. Your support helped make this recognition possible and pushed us past an incredible fundraising milestone.
