Our campus is blooming thanks to the generosity of Hartman & Hartman Construction! 🌸

This week’s sunshine and warm weather created the perfect setting for their annual flower bed beautification project. Hartman & Hartman generously donated a pallet of mulch and 12 flats of flowers to help make our campus more welcoming and beautiful for everyone who visits.

We’re also grateful to Simmons Farm for providing the flowers at a reduced cost, and to the Hartman & Hartman team and members of the Trinity Football team who spent their time mulching, planting, and serving alongside us.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Your generosity helps create a welcoming environment where hope can flourish.

A heartfelt thank you to the VFW Post 764 Auxiliary in McMurray for their generous donation of pens and tablets to City Mission.

These thoughtful gifts will help support the daily needs of those we serve and provide valuable resources for learning, organization, and growth. We are grateful for community partners who come alongside our mission in meaningful ways.

Pictured are Annamarie Bench, representing the VFW Post 764 Auxiliary, and Jim Johnston, City Mission's Director of Development, receiving the donation on behalf of the Mission.

Thank you, VFW Post 764 Auxiliary, for investing in our community and helping make a difference!

Recently, several of our residents participated in a campus cleanup project and transformed reclaimed materials into this beautiful pond space.

Hands-on projects like this help build teamwork, creativity, responsibility, and confidence while also improving our campus environment. We’re grateful for the dedication and effort these men brought to the project and for the community support that makes opportunities like this possible.

🚲 A bicycle may seem like a simple thing, but for many City Mission residents, it represents freedom, independence, and a fresh start.

Reliable transportation can mean getting to work, attending recovery meetings, keeping appointments, and building a brighter future.

This World Bicycle Day, we're grateful for the practical resources that help restore dignity and create new opportunities—one mile at a time.

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:31

Some seasons feel long. Some steps feel heavy. But this promise reminds us that strength is renewed—not all at once, but day by day.

At City Mission, we see that renewal happening in real lives every day. Hope grows, strength returns, and new paths begin.

Thank you for being part of that story. đź’š

A quiet look at City Mission—right here in Washington.

This simple view from the outside represents so much more than a building. It’s a place of welcome, support, and new beginnings for many in our community.

The doors to our kitchen are always open.

7 days a week. 365 days a year.

Every meal served is a reminder that care, consistency, and compassion matter. For many, it’s more than food—it’s a moment of dignity, connection, and hope.

Thank you for helping make sure no one has to go without. đź’™
