I enjoy so many different forms of art including sewing! Happy to get back into my fabric collection and make this start of a quilt with fabrics from my great grandmother and grandmother and fabrics I’ve had since the early 2000’s!

I know Wash Arts has been quiet. We moved out of our space in February and I brought home what I could and distributed what I could in the community.

We painted and totally reorganized our house and we brought everything back from our huge space at Wash arts to our tiny house. That took a couple months- then I just needed to rest a bit. I have totally been out of spoons with everything we built up then had to disassemble at Wash Arts. I will have forevermore joyous and proud memories of our time on Main Street. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have been gardening, enjoying watching my backyard bloom, learning how to ferment, working on my junk journal, reread the entire Little House on the Prairie book series(a childhood favorite - anyone else a fan?) and my husband and I celebrated our ninth anniversary at Cedars in McMurry ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

WHAT’S NEXT? I’m not really sure - in this economy art is the first to go so I have kind of put wash arts on a shelf, gathering my energy back up, and have made a page for a Community Swap Meet/Barter/Sell/Trade/Give group on Facebook - our first event will be Thursday, June 18th 5-8 at the American Legion on Park Avenue. Join us for a new way to experience community, and get a little relief from the overwhelming cost of every little thing - we are trying to have food trucks and music as well! 🎶🌯🍪🧁

I do have a space at Ignite Business Incubator and Co-working Space so if anyone is interested in classes, comment below about what type of classes you would like and what days of the week and times are best for you! I am also available for a higher to teach painting parties for birthdays, bachelorette parties, live painting at Events fashion, illustration lessons or at Events!

If you are still reading this and wanna help, we are looking for monthly donors at as little as five or $10 a month to help us keep our Ignite space and our insurance! Every little bit helps if you can spare anything monthly. Thank you all for helping to build the community we want. See you at the swap meet!
