This Women’s History Month, we are proud to celebrate Wanda López!

A leader whose work has touched countless families and helped open doors for future generations.

For more than 30 years, Wanda has dedicated her career to strengthening communities and expanding opportunities for Hispanic youth and families. From launching ASPIRA Clubs that empower students to stay engaged in school, to supporting college readiness through the ASPIRA Saturday Academy Program, her impact continues to shape the paths of young leaders every day.

Her passion for community doesn’t stop at education. Wanda has also helped lead initiatives that support financial empowerment, family stability, and access to resources. She always has a goal of helping people build stronger futures for themselves and their families.

Today, through her work with ASPIRA Association Delaware, Wanda continues to create meaningful connections between families, students, and the opportunities that help them thrive.

Her story reminds us that leadership is not just about titles, it’s about commitment, compassion, and showing up for your community again and again.

This month, we celebrate Wanda and the many women whose dedication continues to inspire the next generation of Aspirantes.

This Women’s History Month, we proudly honor Dr. Antonia Pantoja. Dr. Pantoja is the visionary founder of ASPIRA and a trailblazer for Latino youth leadership and empowerment.

Dr. Pantoja believed that education, civic engagement, and cultural pride could transform communities. Through ASPIRA, she created a movement that continues to uplift generations of young leaders across the country.

The 2026 Women’s History Month theme, “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future,” celebrates women who build stronger communities and create lasting impact for generations to come.

Dr. Pantoja embodied that vision long before it had a name, proving that when women lead with courage, purpose, and heart, entire communities rise.

Today, her legacy lives on through every Aspirante who dares to dream bigger, lead boldly, and create change.

This month, we celebrate the women who paved the way and the young leaders continuing the journey.

Today, we join the nation in honoring the life and legacy of the Reverend Jesse Jackson. He was a tireless champion for civil rights, dignity, and opportunity for all.

Rev. Jackson’s work reminds us that progress is never accidental; it is built by leaders who have the courage to take their seat at the table.

That is the same fire we are igniting at ASPIRA today. We aren't just teaching history; we are preparing our students to make it. By empowering our youth to be the next line of advocates and change-makers, we ensure that the movement for equity and representation doesn't just endure, it evolves.

We carry this mission forward in the spirit of the Reverend’s lifelong dedication to justice.

We’re back, we’re moving, and we want you with us. Follow along to see our students in action and stay connected as we build this new chapter of Latino leadership together.

They aren’t just "students in a program." They are the architects of our community’s future.

At ASPIRA, we’ve always had deep roots, but under our new leadership, we are shifting the focus: from providing services to building a powerhouse pipeline of Latino leaders.

When you see these faces, you’re looking at representation in action. You’re looking at the next generation of CEOs, civic leaders, and change-makers who are ready to take their seat at every table.

We aren't just supporting youth, we're investing in a legacy.

We’re back, we’re moving, and we want you with us. Follow along as we showcase more of our students in action, and click the link in our bio to see how you can get involved in this new chapter.
