A boiler is not a glamorous funding need. But without reliable heat, a home is not truly safe or stable.

Hyacinth’s Place provides permanent supportive housing for women who have experienced homelessness and are working to rebuild their lives. Our aging boiler needs replacement, estimated at $30,000.

This type of essential expense rarely attracts attention, yet it directly affects every woman who lives in our building. Replacing the boiler will ensure residents have the warm, dependable home environment they need while continuing their path toward stability and independence.

We are seeking support from foundations, businesses, and community partners who understand that maintaining housing is just as important as creating it.

Circle of Sisters brings together former Hyacinth’s Place residents who have moved into the wider community. The group gives women a way to stay connected, support one another, and offer encouragement to current residents when appropriate.

Their experience also helps guide the work of Hyacinth’s Place. These women know firsthand what helped them stabilize, what made a difference, and what kind of support remains important after leaving the program.

Circle of Sisters is a reminder that community does not end when a woman moves forward.
