Through the generosity of our Builders, we were able to provide school shopping and pocket money to help ease the burden for families and keep these bright young girls focused on what truly matters their education and future.

Hearing this heartfelt “thank you” reminds us why we do what we do. It’s not just about giving; it’s about creating opportunities, restoring dignity, and reminding every student that they are seen, valued, and supported.

Together, we’re building a future where no dream is cut short because of circumstance.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

At BUILD Foundation, we believe that hope is stronger when we hold it together. The pink ribbon is more than a symbol, it’s a reminder of courage, resilience, and the power of community.

Every day, thousands of women and families face the uncertainty of a diagnosis, the weight of treatment, and the long road to recovery. Behind each ribbon is a story of strength, survival, and support.

This month, we stand with every fighter, survivor, and loved one affected by breast cancer. We encourage early screening, regular checkups, and open conversations because awareness saves lives.

At Moi Girls Isinya in Kajiado County, we met incredible young girls with so much potential, yet weighed down by the burden of lacking even the basics. We couldn’t walk away without lighting their path. Each girl received not only what she needed, but also a small upkeep token to ease her stay in school.

The joy on their faces reminded us that sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can carry the greatest weight. 🌸 Every coin, every gesture, every bit of love goes a long way in shaping the future of these bright souls.

On Friday 22nd, we took a trip down to Nyaani, Machakos, to spend the day with a lovely elderly mama. 💕 We shared lunch, danced, prayed, laughed — and honestly, our hearts came back fuller than we left. 🥹

We also surprised her with a month’s supply of food and 3 months’ worth of diapers & bed pads to make her days a little easier. 🌸

Sometimes, love looks like showing up. Sometimes, it looks like a dance, a prayer, or a bag of flour. ❤️

And this is all thanks to YOU — for every donation, whether it’s 5, 10, 20, or 100… together, you make moments like this possible. 🙏

Today, we’re reminded that dignity has no age limit. 🌿
Through Build Foundation, we will be able to provide adult diapers to an elderly woman in Machakos County — a small gesture with a big impact on her comfort and quality of life.

Every act of kindness, no matter how simple, restores hope and reminds our elders that they are seen, valued, and loved. 💙

This week, we had the honor of feeding 20+ families thanks to your generous support.
What may seem like just a simple package to many ; maize flour, wheat flour, rice, tissue paper, salt, tea leaves, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, green bell pepper meant the world to those receiving it.

One mother shared that there are nights they go to bed without food. That reality is heartbreaking but this time, we showed up together.

At BUILD Foundation, our mission is simple: helping along the way. And this week, we walked that talk with compassion, dignity, and love.

Thank you to every single person who gave toward this cause. You made more than a donation, you made a difference.

This is what community looks like.

When one of our neighbors became wheelchair-bound and could no longer get into their own home because of the front steps, we knew we had to do something.

So we built a ramp. Simple as that.

Now, getting in and out is no longer a struggle—it’s just a smooth ride home.
Because dignity, safety, and independence should never be out of reach.

At BUILD Foundation, we believe in showing up for each other—one ramp, one act of kindness at a time.

Who needs a gym when you’ve got a lawn to mow? 💪🏽

Thanks to your donations, we got a brand new lawnmower—and Mr. Alfonza Rome didn’t come to play. He pulled up with his gas-powered blower, w**d eater, and enough energy to put the whole block on notice.

Together with our Executive Director, Mr. Frank Goodman Sr., they gave Mr. McGhee’s yard a full glow-up. Why? Because our elders deserve fresh-cut lawns without lifting a finger—or paying a dime.

At BUILD Foundation, we don’t just talk about community—we show up with the tools. Literally.
