💜 I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS WALKING IN FAITH UNTIL I LOOKED BACK.

There was a season in my life when I was pregnant, facing eviction, separated from my children, and trying to figure out how I was going to make it through.

I cried. I prayed. I was discouraged.

But I didn't give up.

And the amazing thing is, I didn't even recognize what I was doing as faith. I was simply trusting God and taking the next step in front of me.

One phone call changed the direction of my situation.

While studying Deuteronomy 19, I began reflecting on God's mercy, justice, and protection. And suddenly, I started seeing my own testimony differently.

Sometimes we don't recognize how much God has carried us through until we look back.

📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us to trust in the Lord and not lean on our own understanding.

Today, I'm sharing a piece of my story that still makes me emotional.

To the woman who's thinking about giving up:

Just because you haven't seen the results doesn't mean your obedience has been wasted.

Some things take time.

Some things require patience.

And some things God is still developing in you before you see them around you.

Don't confuse a slow season with a wasted season.

Keep showing up.

Keep trusting God.

Keep growing.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary in doing good.

“I don’t have to spend every day trying to convince one person before I take another step.” 💜

I can admit that discouragement hurts and still keep writing, praying, learning, and making thoughtful decisions.

That’s where I am right now. Still growing. Still becoming.

Sometimes you don’t realize how much you needed encouragement until someone finally says, “I’m proud of you.”

My daddy said those words to me, and they reached a place in me that needed them. That conversation became “I Didn’t Know My Father Was Watching.”
