🚀 Driving impact through innovation! We are incredibly grateful to Booz Allen Hamilton for welcoming 65 Center of Transformation (CoT) Summit teens, from 10 Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation, to their Helix Center for Innovation! 🌐✨

Our theme this year was “Back to the Future with Technology,” and Booz Allen Hamilton delivered an unforgettable experience.🏆

From exploring transformative AI and diving into AI ethics and safety 🛡️ to meeting Robo Dog WILCO 🤖🐕 and testing cutting-edge virtual reality medical demos 🥽🏥, our future leaders gained firsthand insight into how technology can shape their career paths. As one teen shared: “They showed us that technology doesn’t have to be just one career and that there are different options and routes.”💡

Thank you to Jinnyn Jacobs and the entire Booz Allen team for investing in our youth and making this year’s summit incredibly meaningful. 🌟

Looking ahead, planning is already underway for our milestone 5th Anniversary and the 2027 CoT year. The best is yet to come…Stay tuned for the announcement of our 2027 CoT Theme.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, we believe young people deserve to be heard—and, just as importantly, to have their voices shape the conversations that affect their lives.

We were glad to welcome Ward 7 DC Councilmember Wendell Felder to Clubhouse 14 for his youth town hall. The conversation highlighted something we hear from young people again and again: they want adults to listen to what matters most to them.

At this town hall, their concerns went beyond the usual conversations about crime and education. They talked about jobs.

For teens, employment can mean additional income for their families, saving for college, gaining valuable experience, and having a sense of independence.

That’s why our Clubs are focused on preparing young people for what's next. Through career-readiness programs, our Club kids and teens are building skills in coding, AI, networking, entrepreneurship, and more.

When we create space for young people to speak, they tell us what they need. We’re proud to listen—and to help turn their ideas, interests, and ambitions into opportunities.

Funny how a little "Tug of War" and "Dodgeball" can actually bring people together. Thanks to the City of Police Department, City of Alexandria, Virginia for the fun, teamwork, and opportunity to connect.!

At the end of the day, we’re both in the business of building relationships and strengthening our community—sometimes the best way to do that is through a little friendly competition.

Here’s to partnerships that bring people closer and communities that grow stronger together.

Huge thank you to our amazing partners and the 40 Bozzuto locations who helped make our Back-to-School Backpack Drive a success! 🎒📚

Together, we collected 85 backpacks filled with school supplies and 78 additional backpacks ready to be filled.

We’re so grateful for everyone who donated, packed, and supported this effort to help students start the school year prepared and confident. 💙

🏆🎉 LET’S CELEBRATE OUR 2026 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS from the 6th Annual Youth Career & College Excellence Summit ! 🎉🏆

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that $12,000 in scholarships was awarded to 21 phenomenal scholarship recipients during the live online summit!

🎓✨ Because of this impactful collaboration, nine Boys & Girls Club teens and Alumni received impactful scholarships to help fund their career and college endeavors! 📜💼
