Earlier this month, the National Women's Law Center (NWLC) invited student interns from civil rights and advocacy orgs across the D.C. area to a Civil Rights Learn & Lead conference.

During the event, interns met with student panelists and representatives for the ‘Foundational Values for Higher Education’ compact such as Advocates for Youth, Legal Defense Fund , and the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law , to learn and discuss strategies for countering attacks on civil rights and free speech in education.

The Foundational Values for Higher Education is a pro-equity compact with pledges from over 60 civil rights organizations urging colleges and universities to reject harmful policies against equal opportunity and inclusion, and protect freedom of speech on campus.

Southern HIV AIDS Awareness Day is a time to recognize communities in the South working to end HIV stigma, expand access to care, and make sure everyone has the resources they need to not just survive but thrive. 🎉

This Southern HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, we’re celebrating the young people leading the way.

Back-to-school bag checks are all over the timeline, so obviously we HAD to hop on the trend.

That means once we’re done stuffing in the usual essentials, we’ll be making space for the things that help us look put together and feel put together. Because being prepared isn’t just about acing the semester— it’s about having the tools and resources to take care of yourself, too.

Reproductive Justice is headlining at a venue near you🌟🎸

Huge shoutout to Molly Davis and Destiny Clay for organizing a Rock for Repro fundraiser bringing together artists and community members to raise $1,169 for The Free Store - Corpus Christi and reproductive health supplies in south Texas. Every performance, donation, and person who showed their support for reproductive health and live music.

We're so inspired by the artists and community members who proved that music, joy, and collective action can advance reproductive justice.✨
