High School Students: Connect with current students at your pr
ospective college or university. Ask current students questions such as how is campus life is at your prospective school? Whereshould you live? Do you want to learn more about the Greek Life at Wake Forest or the Law School at Cornell? You will be able to talk with current students and learn more about the schools that you are thinking of applying to or the school that you will be going to before you arrive. You have the ability to interact with students from your hometown and see how their transition to college life was. College Students: Connect with your peers at your school and other schools around the country. Find someone to play tennis with or someone in your prospective fraternity/sorority. Ask other students questions about professors that they’ve had and how challenging classes were. Talk to students with similar majors from any college/university and see what job opportunities may exist. Contact alumni from any school and ask them about their professional experiences and how they’ve liked working at certain companies you are interested in. Connect with a current employee and start the process of getting your résumé submitted. Alumni: Connect with graduating college seniors as you mentor and give them advice on working at corporations and transitioning into life after college. Talk to outgoing students about where their degrees can take them and other job opportunities that they may have. Reach out to other alumni from your school currently living in your area. Contact others with similar interests as you and start/join a recreational club.
