Dacha Navy Yard Cause Tuesday program gives community members an opportunity to support local nonprofits while enjoying a night out, and on Tuesday, June 30, they will be supporting Calvary Women’s Services.

Every day, Calvary works alongside women rebuilding their lives after homelessness, trauma, and crisis. By joining us at Dacha, you’ll be helping support programs and services that provide housing, health, education, and employment support for women across DC.

The Community Walk is back, and early bird registration is officially open. We’re excited to introduce a Fun Run option this year for those looking for an extra challenge!

Join Calvary Women’s Services on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Anacostia Park for our 7th Annual Community Walk & Fun Run.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and as homelessness and domestic violence rates continue to rise across DC, this event is an opportunity to stand alongside women rebuilding their lives after trauma, housing instability, and crisis.

Whether you walk, run, fundraise, sponsor, or create a team with coworkers, friends, or family members, your participation helps ensure women have access to housing, health, education, and employment services that create lasting stability and independence.

Bring five people or fifty. Create a little friendly fundraising competition. Most importantly, spend a Saturday morning making a tangible difference for women in our community.

Every woman deserves a place where she can be fully herself, safe! Calvary Women's Services is proud to celebrate Pride Month to honor LGBTQ+ women in our community who are navigating homelessness and trauma. We are also grateful for the support of the LGBTQ+ community in our city that helps make their healing possible.

Holding close and sending love to LGBTQ+ individuals who are still navigating discrimination, exclusion, and harm. You deserve safety, dignity, and belonging always!

On June 30 from 6-8 PM, Calvary Women's Services will be featured in Dacha Navy Yard's Cause Tuesday series. Cause Tuesday is a chance for communities to gather, enjoy a summer evening and support a local nonprofit at the same time.

At a moment when more women across DC are experiencing homelessness and housing instability, events like these help ensure women continue to have access to housing, mental health care, employment support, and other life-changing services.

What makes Calvary different?

Ask almost anyone in our community and you'll hear the same answer: the people.

In this special message, Board President Tina Stow reflects on the power of celebrating women in a space filled with hope, compassion, and people who genuinely believe brighter futures are possible.

Because while one evening can celebrate hope, it takes a community to sustain it.

The next generation is already showing up for women across DC!

We were honored to welcome an incredible group of young volunteers through our new partnership with The Honeycomb Project. Together, they prepared and serve a meal for women rebuilding their lives after homelessness, trauma, and crisis.
