nonprofit charitable organization committed to supporting Ukraine, its culture, and its people in their fight for liberty, independence, democracy, and a promising, prosperous future. We are dedicated to helping save lives in Ukraine and providing essential assistance to those in need to defend themselves, survive, recover, rebuild, and receive other necessary support. Beyond humanitarian aid, we raise awareness, advocate for Ukraine, and promote its rich cultural legacy. Since March 2014, after russia annexed Ukrainian Crimea and launched its hybrid war in Eastern Ukraine, our dedicated volunteers have been at the forefrontβ€”advocating for Ukraine and delivering vital aid from the U.S. US Ukrainian Activists organizes fundraisers, cultural events, and advocacy efforts to support Ukraine through our ten programs. Our primary programs are:

Hospitallers – Supports the Ukrainian battalion of front-line paramedics by providing critical medical supplies and essential humanitarian aid, helping them continue saving the lives of Ukrainian defenders. Veterans Support Aid – Assists Ukrainian veterans during recovery and rehabilitation, particularly through sports programs, and provides support to the families of veterans in Ukraine. Additionally, we operate multiple programs in support of Ukraine, including: Ukraine’s Children Aid, Ukraine’s Hospitals Aid, Ukraine’s Defenders Aid, Other Humanitarian Aid, USUA Advocacy for Ukraine, and Ukraine’s Cultural Legacy and Diplomacy. We welcome donations of both funds and supplies. USUA has extensive experience in sending shipments of goods to our partners in Ukraine and ensuring that everything reaches its final destination. From the Ukrainian Cossacks who defended our land centuries ago to Ukraine’s defenders of today, the unbreakable spirit of the Ukrainian people, their love of freedom, and their determination to protect it live on through generations.

We bow our heads in remembrance of the Heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine, and we thank every defender who stands for Ukraine today.

On August 29, US Ukrainian Activists (USUA) were proud to represent Ukraine at the wonderful Around the World Cultural Food Festival in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia!

At our USUA Fundraising Tent, festival visitors had an opportunity to discover a little piece of Ukraine through beautiful Ukrainian souvenirs, handmade jewelry, unique shadow boxes, and original pieces of art lovingly created by our dedicated USUA volunteers, as well as exquisite Petrykivka decorative art handcrafted by Ukrainian artists in Ukraine.

🌻 Petrykivka painting is a traditional Ukrainian decorative art recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. We were especially proud to share this beautiful and distinctive part of Ukraine’s cultural heritage with the community.

πŸ’ Every purchase at our tent supported USUA charitable programs and humanitarian projects for Ukraine. We are deeply grateful to everyone who stopped by, spoke with us, learned more about our work, purchased Ukrainian crafts and gifts, and showed their support for Ukraine.

Each item is either handmade by USUA volunteers or created by artists in Ukraine, with their art brought directly from Ukraine. On September 16, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 by a vote of 262–159, completing congressional action on the legislation.

The Senate previously passed the legislation by an overwhelming bipartisan vote of 86–11.

The bill now goes to President Donald Trump for presidential action.

The legislation is designed to increase economic pressure on Russia by targeting key sectors and networks that generate revenue for its war against Ukraine, including Russia’s energy and defense sectors and its sanctions-evasion β€œshadow fleet.”

This is a significant step in the long effort to increase pressure on Russia and restrict the resources that enable its continued aggression against Ukraine.
