This National Women's Health & Fitness Day, ACPM highlights the importance of cardiovascular disease prevention for women aged 35-64. The CDC's WISEWOMAN program extends preventive health services to low-income, uninsured and underinsured women — providing CVD risk assessments and referrals to healthy behavior support services including lifestyle programs, health coaching and community-based resources.
ACPM's WISEWOMAN CME series explores evidence-based approaches to improving cardiovascular outcomes through lifestyle modification, practice implementation in diverse populations and clinical case studies. This four-module series is available free to ACPM members through PrevEd Plus, our annual CME subscription program.
