C is for COVID-19.

Effective Monday March 16th, 2020
As we all navigate this unique time during the Coronavirus [COVID-19] situation, we believe we have a social responsibility to our community. In addition to taking a strong course of action to ensure proper health and safety measures are met in our establishments and enhancing our delivery capabilities to continue serving any and all our customers, we feel strongly that it is our duty to also take care of the children of our community as well. As a family owned restaurant company, children will always be of the upmost importance to us. As such, beginning MONDAY, MARCH 16th, 2020, we will be a offering free meals for children who, at this time, are not able to eat at school. This is a difficult time for us all and we are praying that the end of this pandemic is near. But until then, we are here to do our part in serving our community through these unusual circumstances. We will continue to evolve as the days progress and promise to do our best to support our customers and our community during this trying time.

HOW CAN SOMEONE JOIN MOTH?

Send an email to main+[email protected]

You will then receive a confirmation of your membership in groups.io to reply to and get on the platform.

THEN you will get a message from MoTH asking for you to introduce yourself and share your address.

Please note that the boundaries for MoTH are North and South Capitol Streets, Florida Ave-Benning road and the Anacostia river.

Once your eligibility has been confirmed, you will be welcomed to MoTH with more information on the group.

*****UPDATE ON MOTH YAHOO LISTSERVE*****

Due to the pending demise of Yahoo Groups, our home since 2001, MoTH will be moving to groups.io. Our many (many) years of valuable archives are moving to the new website, as will all of your memberships. You will soon receive an email welcoming you to groups.io.

With this change, there are a few things we wanted to let you know:

You no longer have to use a yahoo.com email if you don’t want to. Your yahoo groups membership was ported over, but if want to use a different email address, you can just change it in the new platform under “Subscription” when you log in. So this means because Io.com is going to pull from Yahoo it will do so using the Yahoo email accounts everyone had to reluctantly create to join MOTH. We HIGHLY recommend that everyone log into to Yahoo Groups one final time to confirm your Yahoo email and account.
You can now edit, tag and delete your posts. Use as many of the prepopulated hashtags as are appropriate so that people can easily find and follow the messages you post.
We’ve put together a FAQ to help you use the new platform. We’ve also opened a chat room so you can ask, answer and discuss how we can optimize the group. Check them both out once you get logged in.
Are you receiving this email and suddenly reminded that you want to leave? Do it now, before the switch. No hard feelings! Just log in to Yahoo Groups using your Yahoo ID and passwword and leave the group.
