Their courage and dedication continue to inspire future generations to lead through service, commitment, and community involvement while reminding us of the enduring impact of those who served before us.

Jared earned his Bronze Medal through leadership, service, and a commitment to uplifting his community.

🀝 For Voluntary Public Service, he mentored at-risk students through the M.O.B Academy, supported literacy and leadership programs for youth, raised awareness for blood cancer research, and helped lead community improvement projects across Louisiana.

πŸ’Ό For Personal Development, he strengthened his communication and leadership skills through his work in insurance services and as a State Board Officer for Louisiana Youth & Government Conference. πŸƒ For Physical Fitness, Jared improved his mindset, endurance, and running techniques as a Varsity Cross Country athlete.

🌍 His Expedition explored Yoruba culture and the Osun-Osogbo Festival in Nigeria through documentaries, virtual exploration, and cultural research.

Through dedication and a drive to grow, Zanele earned her Gold Medal by pushing herself across service, academics, fitness, and new experiences.

🀝 For Voluntary Public Service, she completed 400+ hours at Nicklaus Children’s Health System, supporting patient care through equipment maintenance, data logging, and mentoring fellow volunteers.

πŸ’Ό For Personal Development, Zanele dedicated over 300 hours to studying for the PSAT and Digital SAT, raising her scores while building resilience and time management skills. For Physical Fitness, she developed a consistent routine of cardio, strength training, and nutrition planning.

🌍 For Expedition, she traveled to the Florida Keys, where she practiced driving, kayaking, parasailing, and camping while building confidence and adaptability.

Please submit your Record Book revisions by March 15 to remain eligible for the 2026 Gold Medal Class. If additional revisions are required after March 15, the participant will be considered for the 2027 Gold Medal Class.

Mia earned her Silver Medal by serving her community, building career skills, and challenging themselves to grow through new experiences.

πŸ•οΈ For Voluntary Public Service, she supported her community as a 4-H camp counselor and served on the Scott County Youth Grant Making Council, supporting local schools, food pantries, nursing homes, and other community organizations. Through Personal Development, she interned at an Equine Small Animal Clinic, gaining valuable experience toward a future in veterinary medicine, while also working as a barista.

πŸƒFor Physical Fitness, Mia trained for and completed a 5K charity run, developing a positive attitude toward running and lifelong health. Her Virtual Expedition led her to explore Spain, completing a detailed report on the country’s culture and history.
