Latin America isn’t waiting for the future of AI. It’s building it.

At Meridian International Center’s AI Horizons: Latin America roundtable, leaders across diplomacy, technology, academia, and entrepreneurship explored how the region can close infrastructure gaps, strengthen public-private collaboration, and develop AI solutions rooted in local cultures, industries, and communities.

One message stood out throughout the discussion: AI adoption in Latin America will only succeed if it’s regionally coordinated, locally relevant, and backed by long-term investment in people, education, and innovation ecosystems.
