During yesterday's Fall Leadership Meeting and today's Cornea ad Eye Banking Forum, we announced Elizabeth Fout of BeautyofSight as the recipient of the 2027 Heise Award - the highest EBAA honor for non-medical eye bankers.

Elizabeth will be recognized during the 2027 Annual Meeting in Austin, during June.

Eye Donation Month is coming, and this year we're letting people know "It Only Takes a Minute" to register as an eye, organ, and tissue donor after making an informed, meaningful decision of generosity.

EBAA meets in New Orleans in two weeks for the Fall Leadership Meeting, followed by the Cornea and Eye Banking Forum.

The Fall Leadership Meeting includes both the Medical Advisory and Accreditation Board meetings. But, if you're unable to join us in the Big Easy, the MAB Meeting is available via live broadcast on Thursday, October 8, 4:30 PM Eastern.

Up to two CEUs may be earned for CEBTs, and Medical Directors can attend virtually to fulfill the accreditation requirement.

Join us in Austin this June for the newly reimagined EBAA Annual Meeting!

Now three-day event, we are looking for session proposals that are interactive, giving attendees an active role in the room, and have a "Monday morning takeaway" like a template, checklist, decision tool, or policy.

Ideas need not be fully formed! Submit your topic or issue with a credible approach and a willingness to make it interactive and we will help build the concept.
