Gideon Fawkes Debut Album "Marigold" available now. Marigold is a college student studying in Prague during the late 30s. Months pass and Marigold’s strength is weakening.

She envisions a life filled with friends, family, and companionship. One night, in the throws of a N**i siege, she is captured and taken to a labor camp, where she is enslaved for the German war effort and befriended by a young N**i prison guard named Adler. Confused and ashamedly disgusted by the war, Gideon keeps a secret eye on Marigold, growing more fond of her and less of himself everyday. He

feels a connection to her and an attraction to her strong will to survive, yet he has no way of truly helping her without catching the attention of his bloodthirsty father, the commanding officer at the camp. She has a premonition in a dream one night that she finds the courage to fight on and live. As the war rages, Adler grows more and more disgusted with himself after every order - and when word comes down of the prisoner's final sentence, he decides he must act. That night, he comes to Marigold’s bedside and takes her to the perimeter of the camp where there is a separation in the fence; however, the two are spotted on their way. With all of the strength she has left, Marigold sprints into the dense forest and briefly stops to look back. She see’s her rescuer's face one last time before he is dragged away from the fence by his own men and shot in the back of the head. With tears in her eyes and heavy feet, Marigold turns and disappears into a new life. Years would pass and Marigold came to love Adler in her own way. She never forgot the youthful face of the young man that saved her life, the unjustness of the war they both suffered, or the truth she learned about the human spirit. She never forgot the significance of their story.
