Here's a not so fun fact. 6.4 million Latinas live in states where abortion is banned, making them the largest group of women of color living without proper access to the full-range of reproductive services they deserve.
That's why we're joining the National Partnership for Women & Families and the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice in demanding protections and policy changes to help make that happen. They just dropped a new report and it's full of stats that will put into perspective how devastating attacks on repro freedom are for Latine communities. You'll be shocked and very angry, but more than that, you'll be compelled to take action.
We're counting on lawmakers to fight back against their anti-abortion colleagues to reverse cuts to programs like Medicaid, pass the EACH & HEAL Act, and do everything possible to make sure Latina women, girls, and gender-expansive people can access health care.
