The Invisible DC Block Party is a part of ICAR’s Capitol Inc campaign created to highlight corporate capture of our public institutions.

Corporations cannot be allowed to have outsized influence over our government. Our research shows corporations use their influence to prioritize corporate profits over public health, safety and interest.

We are revealing the truth of how corporations abuse their power to stand in the way of real change!

Every issue is a corporate accountability issue.

After retweeting an image of a poster spoofing a historic Palestine tourism ad, BDS Austria was SLAPPed by the city of Vienna. The Protect the Protest taskforce interviewed with a member of the group, who talked about the importance of international solidarity. Facing increasing repression by the government, these activists are fighting for justice in Palestine in an ever-shrinking civic space. Last week, the Commission released new proposed directive on mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence as a important step towards holding . But the proposal isn’t perfect. If passed, the law would only apply to companies with more than 500 employees creating dangerous loopholes for companies to hide behind and exploit. Read more:
