Jill O'Connor shares the following opportunity:

The Missile Defense Agency has a vacancy for an NH-IV (GS-14/15 equivalent) attorney at our Colorado Springs office. The position is in our Acquisition Law Division and will provide Program Counsel support for MDA’s Space Capabilities and Advanced Capabilities Program Offices, which will include advising on both FAR and non-FAR based acquisition authorities. The incumbent is the sole attorney at MDA’s Colorado Springs location and also provides some general law support working closely with our General Law Division. The position will be on-site at Schriever Space Force Base.

Based on the hiring freeze, MDA currently only has the ability to hire civilian employees currently employed by other DoD Agencies or Services. If you are a current DoD civilian and interested in this position, feel free to reach out to me with questions or you can submit your resume to [email protected].

We may receive an exception to the hiring freeze to broaden the hiring pool to current civilian employees in non-DoD agencies or retiring Servicemembers. If you fall into one of those categories and are interested, feel free to reach out with questions or to express your interest.

Jill can be reached for questions at [email protected].
