🗣 Congress - do your job!

WE THE PEOPLE don't answer to a king. This summer, we go to Washington to make that clear.

Seven Days in D.C. runs June 28th through July 4th, a week of civic action in the nation's capital. The schedule includes congressional lobbying with real constituent meetings, Know Your Rights and First Amendment training from the ACLU, candidate forums where you can ask tough questions, voter registration drives, and a veterans rally. On July 4th it all builds to the We the People 250 March on Washington, a peaceful, people powered stand against authoritarianism, named for the first 3 words of the Constitution.

Each evening brings live music, comedy, and performances, with the Black Cat, a longtime independent music venue on 14th Street, anchoring the nightlife. Bands on the bill include HUE, TOB and The Honest Politix, BAD STATIC, ALLSTRIKE, RESISTANCE CO, THE MAKA STICKS, PETRICHOR, and the Brock Butler Band. Influencers you might recognize will be there all week too, including Cats on a Couch, Fear and Loathing: Closer to the Edge, Gunny Speaks Out, Matt Gordon, Dave TheViking, Rig, Echo Romeo, Owl Media, My Cluck Hut, Twig, Elizabeth Booker Houston, and comedian Cliff Cash, with several of them performing in the evenings and more joining throughout.

This is what showing up looks like. Not watching from a distance, but walking into the offices of your members of Congress, registering voters, learning skills, and marching in the streets of Washington DC on Independence Day to say out loud that this country belongs to ALL OF US!

Come for the whole week or a single day. March on the 4th. Volunteer, donate, or just spread the word. All of it matters.

💥 Big lobbying effort underway in Connecticut and D.C.

Rep Larson filed articles of impeachment against Trump back in April - declaring that it's what his constituents want.

It's true. But they also want a VOTE. If you're in Connecticut's first Congressional district - go tell him.

And they sat in The Situation Room for hours on multiple occasions to decide how much or how little to cover up.

This cover up is not Trump's Watergate. It's far more sinister. It's PedoGate.

Cabinet members at the highest level in his administration were in the Situation Room talking about whether or not to reveal documents that talked about Trump's predilectionfor children's ni***es.

They sat around and planned how to spin things and how much to comply. This alone is impeachable.
