Today, NFBPWC proudly joins Business and Professional Women around the world in celebrating the 96th anniversary of BPW International.
For nearly a century, BPW has created something enduring: a global community of people committed to advancing women in business, the professions, leadership and public life.
That legacy matters because progress is rarely made alone. It is built when women support one another, advocate for one another, share opportunities, open doors, exchange experience and make sure the next generation does not have to begin where the last one started.
BPW is about connection, but it is also about action. It is about strengthening the voices of women in the workplace, in entrepreneurship, in government and in the communities where decisions are made. It is about ensuring that women have not only a seat at the table, but the opportunity and confidence to help shape what happens there.
Here in the United States, NFBPWC carries that mission forward, bringing together women and men who believe in supporting, empowering and advancing women.
On this BPW Day, we salute the generations of Business and Professional Women who built this movement, the women leading it today, and those who will carry it forward.
