Justice for Dalaneo Martin & Phillip Brown

March 18 marks 3 years since my son Dalaneo “Debo” Martin was taken from me by U.S. Park Police while he was asleep in a car. He was only 17 years old.

Three years later, families are still asking the same question: Why are our children being killed instead of protected?

We are gathering not only to remember Dalaneo, but to stand for Phillip Brown and every family in Washington, DC who has lost a loved one to police violence.

When an officer is killed, the world demands justice.
But when our children are killed, families are left fighting alone for answers.

That must change.

This rally is about accountability, healing, and demanding real change in DC.
We are calling for policies that protect our communities, including the Dalaneo Martin Wrongful Death Bill so families like mine are not left without justice.

This is a very serious hearing about MPD collaborating with ice agents and people dying with the federal police on our streets US marshals have killed two people and no justice have been served Marco on 7th St., Julian in Mayfair all by US marshals nobody cam no footage and no justice but today hearing DC Council, Pinto and Parker decided to be on their phone while people are giving testimony. Let’s get one thing clear DC Council is not fighting hard enough for the residence of Washington DC. Council member couniclmember Pinto and councilmember Robert White has a bill to introduce and Pinto continues to leave loop hose in her bill where counicl member Robert White bill is stronger than. Today was very emotional for me listening to a deaf guy talk about how the police has brutalized him and use their own interpreted instead of giving him an interpreted.
