From her very first Jersey calf in kiddie showmanship to becoming a leader in her community, Wisconsin 4-H’er Madison Wiese is a powerful example of how 4-H inspires young people to be engaged.🌎🥛
Over 11 years in 4-H dairy, Madison has turned her passion into purpose—creating opportunities for others through a calf-sharing program on her family’s farm. Thanks to her leadership, dozens of young people have experienced the responsibility, confidence, and connection that come with raising and showing dairy cattle.
One story says it all: a young participant joined unsure of where he fit. But summer after summer, working with his calf, Madison saw him grow—more confident, more comfortable, more himself. By his final year, he stepped into the show ring and earned top honors in junior showmanship.
For Madison, that’s what 4-H is all about: showing up for others, creating space to grow, and believing in what young people can achieve when given the chance. 💚
