Unlike conventional poultry, organic chickens must have year-round outdoor access, more space to roam, and cannot be given antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones. Research shows that organic farms promote better animal welfare by allowing chickens to express natural behaviors like foraging, dust bathing, and perching.
