Happy Thanksgiving 🧡
Today we gather with full hearts — hearts shaped by love, loss, and the quiet courage of the animals who change us forever.

Khloe was the beginning.
A small puppy rescued from a shelter, who grew into a companion whose love lit the path that became our mission. She was our first lesson in resilience — a reminder that even the smallest life can spark something immeasurably powerful. Khloe gave us the vision.

And then came Titan — gentle, loyal, and brave to his very last breath. His battle with hemangiosarcoma arrived like a storm, sudden and merciless. Losing him carved a deeper ache, but it also awakened a fiercer purpose. Titan fortified our resolve with fire. His courage became our call to action — our vow that no family should face this darkness alone.

Khloe started the story.
Titan strengthened the promise.
Together, they are the heartbeat of Khloe’s Second Chance.

So today, as tables fill with warmth and families gather close, we honor the pets who are still beside us… and the ones we now carry in our souls. We honor every family fighting for more time, every pet still battling, and every silent goodbye that came too soon.

Your kindness keeps their stories alive.

Hemangiosarcoma is a cancer that often affects the spleen. It’s one of the most heartbreaking diagnoses because it usually shows no symptoms while developing, and by the time signs appear, it progresses very fast. 💔

I’m sharing this webinar from our friends at Canine Cancer Canine Cancer Alliance, which is a great resource to better understand this disease — especially how environmental factors may play a role in its development.

Hemangiosarcoma is one of the most aggressive and heartbreaking cancers in dogs — often appearing without warning and spreading rapidly. While new treatments such as the EGFR/HER2 vaccine are helping extend survival times, an important question remains:
Why are so many dogs developing this disease?

In this webinar, Dr. Catherine Wise, a research scientist at Duke University, will discuss emerging evidence that links environmental exposure to cancer risk in dogs. You’ll learn about a new CCA study focusing on that could one day lead to better prevention and early detection.

Hemangiosarcoma Awareness🚨

Did you know hemangiosarcoma is one of the most aggressive cancers in dogs — often affecting the spleen and spreading before symptoms appear 🩺🐾
