👏👏👏UpsideDown Moments!!!

🌱 A New Season for UpsideDown Moments

Every organization goes through seasons of change, and UpsideDown Moments is entering a new season.

After much thought and reflection, we are making some changes to how UDM serves our community. Effective October 10, 2026, we will be closing our clothing closet and will no longer be accepting donations of clothing or other items.

This decision allows us to focus our time, energy, and resources on the programs where we can make the greatest impact.

❤️ One program that will continue is our FirstNight Bags.

Children entering foster care will continue to receive a bag filled with comfort and necessities, including:

🩲 New underwear
👕 New pajamas
🧦 New socks
🧴 Hygiene bag
🧸 Stuffed animal
🖍️ Coloring book & crayons
🧵 A handmade quilt generously donated by our friends at Station Stitchers

For a child entering foster care, these simple items can provide something they desperately need in a moment of uncertainty: comfort, dignity, and something of their own.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, volunteered, sorted, organized, shopped, delivered, and supported UDM throughout the years. You have helped us turn so many moments upside down to upside right. ❤️

Stay tuned… there are more changes coming as we look toward the future of UpsideDown Moments. 🌱

👻 FRIGHT FEST IS COMING… and we need YOUR trunk! 🎃🚗

Get ready for a spooktacular night of candy, costumes, music, decorated trunks, and community fun at the Elaine Thompson Elementary PTA Fright Fest: Trunk or Treat! 🍬🦈

⏰ 5:30–7:30 PM

🎟️ FREE ENTRY — Everyone is welcome!

But here’s the trick… we need trunks to make the treats happen! 👀
