Baltimore, the countdown is on.

In just a few short weeks, Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated will bring its 47th National Convention to Charm City, gathering families, leaders, changemakers, and partners from across the country.

As part of this historic gathering, we are proud to introduce The Power of Us Town Hall—the first public Town Hall experience in our Convention's history.

This special evening will celebrate the individuals, organizations, businesses, and community partners whose work helps the city thrive. Together, we'll recognize local impact, foster meaningful connections, and celebrate the power of community.

Because when people come together with purpose, remarkable things happen.

Join us July 21 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

We can't wait to celebrate with you, Baltimore.

A father’s love is found in the everyday moments: showing up, offering guidance, lending a hand, and making sacrifices so others can thrive.

It is steady, selfless, and often quiet — but its impact is deeply felt in the lives of the children and families they love.

To fathers and father figures everywhere leading with heart: thank you.

Happy Father’s Day! 🩷💙

As we celebrate Juneteenth, we remember that freedom was not a finish line — it was a beginning.

We honor our ancestors by continuing the work: breaking down walls, setting the pace, and carrying forward the blueprint for progress and liberation.

Happy Juneteenth!💚💛❤️

One week later, and we are still celebrating Kameirah Johnson. 🩷💙

A Jack and Jill teen from the Far West Region’s Seattle Chapter, Kameirah was named the 2025–2026 Doodle for Google National Winner, with her artwork featured on Google’s homepage for millions to see.

Created in response to the theme, “My superpower is…,” her piece honors Black hair as beauty, history, identity, creativity, and crown.

And her impact continues beyond the artwork. In addition to receiving a $55,000 college scholarship, she chose to direct the $50,000 technology package connected to her win to Rainier Beach High School in Seattle — extending opportunity to another community of students.

Congratulations again, Kameirah. Your Jack and Jill family is proud of you.

This Pride Month, we honor the courage, contributions, and leadership of people who are Black and LGBTQIA+ and whose voices and advocacy have shaped our communities.

As mothers dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders, we remain committed to fostering spaces rooted in respect, inclusion, and belonging — where every family feels valued and every child learns the power of compassion, courage, and community.

Happy Pride Month.🩷

Four years ago, we began our partnership with USTA to expand access to tennis for our children and families.
Through clinics, events, and chapter engagement, this partnership has introduced members to the fundamentals of the sport while creating meaningful pathways for exposure, skill-building, wellness, and opportunity.

As we recognize National Tennis Month, we thank the USTA team for their continued partnership, including Marisa Grimes Galiber, USTA Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer; Jack and Jill alumnus Sean Holcomb-Jones, USTA Director of Diversity and Inclusion; and Jack and Jill Mother Donyshia Boston-Hill, USTA NJTL, Strategic Partnerships and Events.

We look forward to continuing this work and expanding opportunities for more Jack and Jill families through tennis.

This Memorial Day, we remember the fallen and honor those whose courage, service, and sacrifice helped shape the meaning of this day.

The Harlem Hellfighters, one of the most decorated Black combat units of World War I, were not approved to receive the Congressional Gold Medal until 2021 — more than 100 years after the war ended.

Their story reminds us that Black communities have long modeled patriotism, discipline, and determination, even when full recognition was delayed.

As Jack and Jill families, we carry this history forward by teaching our children the fullness of the legacy they inherit.

Today, we remember the Freedom Riders—an in*******al group of civil rights activists who traveled by bus through the South in 1961 to challenge segregation in interstate travel and bus terminal facilities.

On May 20, 1961, Freedom Riders arrived at the Greyhound Station in Montgomery, Alabama, where they were met with brutal mob violence. Their courage helped expose the injustice civil rights activists faced and reminds us why we must continue to teach, honor, and carry this history forward.

Supporting the whole family means nurturing the mind, body, and spirit — and reminding each other that no one has to face difficult moments alone. 💚

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage families to pause and create space for open, honest conversations.

Listen with intention, check in on your loved ones often, share resources, and don’t be afraid to seek support when needed.

If you or someone you know needs immediate support, call or text 988.
