ICYMI: Punta Gorda Airport recently opened six new departure gates as part of its $44 million terminal expansion project. The upgraded space includes additional seating, charging stations, a mother’s room, and other passenger-focused amenities. The expansion comes as Punta Gorda Airport works to accommodate record passenger volumes, adding the infrastructure and amenities needed to support growth while maintaining a convenient and comfortable passenger experience. ✈️

ADS-B technology supports aviation safety in multiple ways.

It improves situational awareness for pilots and helps airports manage operations efficiently.

This technology should be leveraged to improve the entire aviation ecosystem, not restricted in ways that could undermine airport safety and infrastructure investments.
