CBN-DC members seek to apply the teachings of the Catholic faith in the marketplace while also providing support to the Church’s mission by providing merit- and need-based scholarships to elementary and high school students in the District of Columbia. Any profits generated through CBN-DC’s fundraising efforts go to support Catholic schools in Washington, D.C. through scholarships and grant opport

unities. For business members and professionals, CBN-DC seeks to highlight the interactions among businesses, primarily through networking opportunities. The premier member service for CBN-DC is the monthly networking event, quarterly evening receptions, and the annual gala. Such networking could potentially lead to business leads and the mutual sharing of spheres of influence. Members will have the opportunity for increased participation by serving on one CBN-DC’s committees. Committees include the scholarship, membership, gala, communications, and several other committee options. CBN-DC helps to foster a connection between schools, school families and Catholic businesses and professionals to provide a strengthened local community and support for Catholic education. CBN-DC celebrates the fact that Catholic schools foster future business leaders for the business community. Although the scholarships may not cover the full cost of tuition, some families could not afford a Catholic education without tuition assistance. Combining the assistance with parents’ ability to pay helps create an ownership mentality – it keeps the student in Catholic schools, and keeps the school alive with engaged students and parents.

God will do wonderful things through Roy! May God continue to bless him.
