Congratulations to FIDECOOP for receiving a $180,000 federal disaster grant through the USDA's Rural Development Business Grant program! This funding will help rural cooperatives in Puerto Rico recover from federally declared disasters, and provide financing and technical support to 22 cooperatives in Puerto Rico. FIDECOOP will also offer mentoring and assistance for the development and management of small and emerging rural cooperative businesses.
