ICYMI - Trump signed and approved $72 billion for ICE and Border Patrol to expand their mass deportation force, masks and all.

No measures for oversight and transparency were included in the funding bill.

Several Republicans in the House of Representatives assisted Trump by ditching the concerns of their Latino constituents and instead, siding with MAGA and white nationalists. They include:

🔸Elijah Crane (AZ-02)
🔸Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06)
🔸David Valadao (CA-22)
🔸Jeff Hurd (CO-03)
🔸Gabe Evans (CO-08)
🔸Michael Lawler (NY-17)
🔸Ryan Mackenzie (PA-07)
🔸Robert Bresnahan (PA-08)
🔸Scott Perry (PA-10)
🔸Monica De La Cruz (TX-15)
🔸Jennifer Kiggans (VA-02)

Voto Latino will continue to engage and mobilize Latino voters to demand accountability and to reign in Trump’s lawless deportation force.

One crucial step our community can take is to ensure that you are registered to vote.

On June 12, 2016, a gunman opened fire at Pulse nightclub in Orlando during Latin Night, killing 49 people and injuring dozens more. Pulse was a space where LGBTQ people, many of them Latino, gathered to dance, celebrate, and feel safe in their full identities.

Today, we remember the lives stolen that night and honor the courage, dignity, and joy of LGBTQ Latinos who continue to shape our communities.

This anniversary is a reminder that LGBTQ Latinos deserve safety in every space. They deserve to be seen without fear, loved without condition, and remembered without erasure.

As attacks on LGBTQ communities continue across the country, we carry forward the memory of Pulse by standing against hate, protecting q***r and trans people, and refusing to let anyone erase the Latino and LGBTQ identities of those we lost.

We remember them with love.
We honor them with action.
We carry their courage forward.

The World Cup starts today ⚽🌎

For many Latinos, it's about more than the game. It's a chance to celebrate where we come from, the cultures that shaped us, and the pride we carry in our roots.

Latinos are not one story, one country, or one experience. We come from every corner of the world, and that's something worth celebrating.

Today, show up with pride for your country, your community, and your story.

Be proud of where you come from.

Who are you cheering for? 👇

Our next Grad Con Ganas spotlight is Hannah! 🎉

Hannah earned a degree in Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior from Rutgers University. She also minored in Sustainability and Sociology!

👉🏽 Here’s what Hannah had to say about this important milestone.

"To me, graduating means crossing a finish line that always felt out of reach. This degree really is for all of those who were with me on my journey. I am forever grateful for the experiences and opportunities we shared."

"My hope after graduation is to work in government or a non-profit, focusing on policy and community engagement."

"I am extremely proud of all of us for getting to this point. The work we have done to get here will not go unnoticed, and the memories, and triumphs that we have collected will be carried for lifetimes. Good luck to all, and I am excited to see where life takes us."

Please join us in congratulating Hannah and all Latino grads! 🎓🌟

In CA-22, voters will choose between Republican incumbent David Valadao and Democrat challenger Randy Villegas in the general election.

✌🏽 In California, the top two candidates with the most votes during the primary advance to the general election – regardless of party affiliation.

🩺The two differ greatly on healthcare: Valadao voted to cut Medicaid. If Villegas wins, he promises to fight to protect Medicaid.

Please join us in congratulating Angie, another of our On-Campus leaders and a Grad Con Ganas! 📢

Angie earned a degree in Engineering from Rutgers University where, as a VL On-Campus leader, she organized voter registration drives and civic engagement events, like a letter writing campaign to Members of Congress.

👉🏽 Here’s what she had to say about her accomplishment.

"As a first-generation student, graduation means that I was able to learn and accomplish my parents’ dreams for myself. They worked hard to make sure that my sisters and I were able to live a much better life than they did and I hope to give them a better future in return." 💗

"Graduating college is the embodiment of hard work and something that I truly cherish. I am proud of everyone that’s like me who is changing the statistics of college graduation for Latinos and first-generation Americans."

Please join us in congratulating Angie and all Latino grads! 🎓🌟

MAGA Republicans in Congress just approved roughly $70 billion more for ICE and Border Patrol.

This is not about keeping families safe. This is about giving Trump the money to expand raids, detention, and deportations while Latino families continue to face fear, broken homes, and rising costs.

At a time when families are struggling to afford rent, groceries, health care, and basic needs, Republicans chose to pour billions into an unaccountable deportation force.

Latino communities know exactly what this means. More families targeted. More people are detained. More communities are living under threat. More taxpayer dollars are spent on cruelty instead of care.

Trump and his allies are showing us their priorities. They are choosing mass deportations over families. They are choosing fear over stability. They are choosing political cruelty over the communities that keep this country moving.

We deserve leaders who protect our families, lower costs, and invest in our future.
