As 2025 draws to a close, so too does The International Council on Clean Transportation’s 20th year in operation.
The ICCT was incorporated in 2005 with a mission to deliver independent, science-based research that drives real policy change. Twenty years later, we have 185 staff across 11 countries, and our analysis has shaped more than 100 policies—leading to an estimated 2 billion tons of CO₂ emissions abated.
